I have a "Server Down" policy in place on AppDynamics (SaaS) where several of us receive an email and a page when a WebSphere Application Server is down (i.e. non-responsive for 5 minutes).
We shut down the servers every Saturday morning (Friday night) between midnight and 1:00 AM so that we obtain a clean backup of the disks (the company will not pay for a data-aware backup solution). Apparently, we need to enter an Action Suppression rule for every Saturday and would like to be able specify that the rule is to be ignored every Saturday from 00:00 - 01:00.
Does anyone know of a way to configure the policy so that it is in effect all but 1 hour per week? Or is there a way to input an Action Suppression rule to disable the Action on a recurring basis?
